Coronavirus advice for managers

Procedures for line managers

Line managers must contact ER Services to log any suspected cases of coronavirus. You can do this using the online form.

Line managers can also contact ER Services if you have any questions.

ER Services – 0330 606 1001 (Option 2). Monday – Friday 8am-6pm and Saturday 8:30am- 4pm. If you have any questions or cases to log outside of these times you can use the online form or email the team at Please remember this phone line is only for line managers.

If you work outside of ER Services opening hours and a colleague is displaying symptoms then you must follow the advice on our Coronavirus advice page.

  1. Ensure the colleague calls NHS 111 (or GP/MED on the Isle of Man) and follow their advice.
  2. If the colleague is told to self-isolate, they must not attend work.
  3. Log a case with ER Services using the online form, by email or phone them when they re-open.
