Confidential advice and support from the Employee Assistance Programme

If you need support or just someone to talk to, the Co-op Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is available 24 hours a day.
If you’re in the UK, you can call 0800 069 8854 (calls are free). If you’re abroad, you can call 0044 141 846 1586 (overseas call charges apply).
It’s run by LifeWorks – a company that specialises in colleague helplines. It’s totally confidential and they don’t need to know which part of Co-op you work in.
You can call for practical guidance and counselling on a whole range of topics. Your concern doesn’t need to be work-related either. You can get advice on:
- health and wellbeing
- personal and work-related issues
- money and debt
- caring responsibilities
- legal matters
There’s also a LifeWorks website that can provide additional advice and support.
If you want to access the LifeWorks website
You’ll need to be a permanent colleague and register your email address on MyHR.
When you join Co-op and register with MyHR, you’ll get an email from firstname.lastname@example.org to invite you to access the website - you should get this email within 3 weeks.
If you’ve lost the email or can’t access LifeWorks you can submit a request to the LifeWorks support team.
