Health assessments

If you're a Co-op colleague, you can get a confidential health assessment from Nuffield Health either paid for by Co-op (Managers in Work Levels 1 to 5) or at a discounted rate (all other colleagues).

Health assessments give you an up-to-date overview of your health, with guidance on how to improve it.

Nuffield Health’s health assessments include:

• a confidential consultation
• written health report
• a personalised health and lifestyle action plan

If you're a colleague in Work Level 5

Work Level 5 colleagues can get a Lifestyle+ health assessment paid for by Co-op.

Nuffield Health will automatically contact you if you're eligible.

If you're eligible, you can have a health assessment with Nuffield Health every two years.

You won't have to pay 'benefit in kind' tax on this benefit.

If you're in Work Levels 1 to 4

Co-op pays for your health assessment as part of your Co-op employment package. You will be automatically contacted by Nuffield Health with details on how to arrange a health assessment.

If you are a Work Level 1 to 4 colleague you get a 360+ health assessment paid for by Co-op.

You can have a health assessment with Nuffield Health every two years.

This benefit is tax free. You won't have to pay 'benefit in kind' tax on this benefit.

Discounted health assessments for all colleagues

If you're not eligible for a Co-op funded health assessment, you can still get a discounted rate from Nuffield health.

You and your family members, who are over 18, can get discounts of between 15% and 37% on health assessments.

*only available to 40 years+ females when attending a 360+ or 360 Health Assessment

If you're due an assessment but haven't been contacted yet

Call the Nuffield Health booking team on 03452 30 20 40 and give them your employee number.

If you’re unsure whether you’re eligible for health assessments paid for by Co-op

You’ll find your Work Level if you login to MyHr under My Details > View Employment Details.

If your Work Level is 1 to 5, you are eligible for a Company paid Health Assessment. Any other Levels can access the discounted rates and self-pay for an assessment.
