Set performance goals

Goals at work give you a clear direction to set priorities and allow you to focus on doing what matters most. This means it’s important to set goals, whether you want to progress in your career or simply keep doing a great job.
In some business areas, your goals are set for you. For example, in food stores, logistics depots and funeralcare - check with your manager if you’re not sure whether this applies to you.
If you set your own goals, you can use the Goals section in MyHR to keep a record and update as you make progress with them.
The beginning of the year is a good time to set or review goals - but you should keep them relevant by reviewing them regularly.
