On the first Wednesday of every month, we focus on a specific area of wellbeing, with new resources, support and live events. We respond directly to colleague feedback and to what is going on in the world, to bring you relevant and pro-active support for you and your families. Check back on this page each month for brand new content!

Some of the topics we discuss can be triggering, so please take care of yourself and reach out for any support you may need – call Lifeworks 24/7 on 0800 069 8854 or the Samaritans on 116 123.

April 2022

Despite the arrival of some much-needed sunshine, we know many of you are facing into times of financial and emotional strain.

This Wellbeing Wednesday aims to bring advice, tips and resources from across our partners around a range of support available, including…

Helping you to manage rising living costs, including rising energy bills, making sure you’re getting all of the money and benefits you’re entitled to, and being aware of how your pension can really help with long term financial planning.

We take a look into how to manage rising stress levels and steps to take to improve our sleep health. As the pace of life constantly seems to increase and we have big demands on our attention and time, pulling us in different directions, it is important we are taking any steps we can to reduce stress and improve our sleep.

April marks the launch of our Mental Health Awareness Week 2022 schedule, jam packed with live events, podcasts, short booster sessions, yoga, downloadable resources and much more. We will make sure all content is available on-demand for those of you who can’t attend live, so please don’t worry if times clash with your shifts. Just visit our MHAW page here post-event for the recording which you can then watch in your own time. For the full schedule and to book onto events, click here.

We also discuss the growing Menopause support we have in place for colleagues, both for those going through this life transition and for those supporting a loved one. In addition, we offer some top tips for supporting colleagues through Ramadan.
